Peer Council

The Peer Council is made up of client leaders who meet weekly to discuss issues which affect the clients and organization. We believe the clients should guide the way we provide treatment. They help shape the programming by eliciting and sharing feedback. Each Peer Council Representative makes a commitment to their fellow clients to be proactive and work for the betterment of the treatment process.

Several examples of their work include:

  • Holiday and special event planning.
  • Planning of outings.
  • Helped to create Pet Therapy program.
  • Planning and operation of food pantry.
  • Planning and operation of clothing pantry.

Outreach Ministry Program is another priority of the Council. They recognize leadership is about giving back. Therefore, they have worked to improve the community through these projects:

  • Member of the Arkansas Homeless Coalition.
  • Collect and donate food and clothing to those in need in the community.
  • Helping feed the homeless in Central Arkansas.
  • Educate individuals and organizations about Inspiration and mental illness.
